Christmas time is busy, busy, busy! I love all the family time but just wish it all wasn't so rushed but with big families there is no time to spare.
Every year we kick off the Christmas celebration with the Hill family on December 23. We have a big family dinner, listen to Christmas music, and open gifts. Janis purchased the gift of the century this year with the Paw Patrollers for Braxton and Jagger.
For lunch on Christmas Eve we visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hill and eat a delicious home cooked meal.
After mass we head over to Grandma and Grandpa Kordsmeier's for dinner, Christmas Carols, and the Christmas play put on by the grandkids and now great-grandkids.
After all the festivities we hit the road for a late night drive home to beat Santa!! I remember watching out the window for Santa on the way home on Christmas Eve and I hope to pass that excitement on to my littles. This year they both fell asleep quickly after we left the driveway. Ha
Christmas morning is spent at home in pajamas with my mom and brother. We eat our favorite appetizers all day, open gifts, and go to the movies after nap time. This year we went to see the Good Dinosaur which was a little scary. Dee Dee had the best gift with a new Little People barn and animals.
