July was a fun, relaxing month spent entirely in Northwest Arkansas. Anyone who knows us, knows that staying home for 1-2 consecutive weekends let alone more than 4 is a huge feat for us!! We really enjoyed getting to relax and hang out as a family of 3 without all the packing and traveling!

Toddler Chronicles June 2014: 21 months

Another busy month around the Hill household! Between the annual golf tournament, Luke's surprise 30th birthday party, strep throat round #2, and swim lessons we haven't had much time to rest!! Braxton is sooo much fun right now! Biggest development of the month must be language.....I am amazed daily by what this kiddo can say. Luke and I are so in love with his sweet personality and I'm soaking it up because I know that the terrible twos are coming and my sweet little boy may not always be so cute and sweet. Ha

Things Braxton is doing this month:
  • Trip to the Tulsa zoo with DD
  • Annual Cole and Carl Hill Golf Tournament
  • Swim Lessons
  • Boom Booms on the 4th of July

Things Braxton is saying/doing this month:
  • Yells "I love you more"
  • Sings "La, la, la...I love you"
  • "Oh no"
  • "What you doin"
  • Says "I love you mommy" or "I love you daddy" without being asked
  • Counts to 10 but always skips #8
  • Learning about bugs at school
  • Talking so so much.....big 3-4 word phrases that are understandable!!

Boom Boom

Happy Birthday America!! This year the 4th of July was so fun because our sweet boy is at such a fun, inquisitive age. Braxton loved his first experience with fireworks or "Boom Booms" as they will now forever be known.
Braxton enjoyed watching the big Boom Booms go off at Arvest ballpark but he was also just as happy throwing Snap and Pops or holding sparklers!!!

We started our 4th of July celebration with Braxton's first round of miniature golf. He loved it for about 15 minutes and then discovered that you could throw the golf ball into the water hazards and mommy or daddy would have to fish it out....so fun. After our exciting round of golf Braxton experienced his first snow cone and loved it!!!

The grand finale of our celebration included Arvest ballpark with your bestie Ansley, a picnic, and lots of Boom Booms!!
