4 months old and counting.......

To Braxton: What a sweet boy you are!!! Each and everyday you reveal a little more of your personality. You are such an easy-going, happy baby boy. We are so blessed to have you in our lives and we love you so very much.
You started enjoying tummy time this month!
The facts: You are still small (10 lbs. 4 oz.).......like less than 5th percentile small, but you are steadily growing and you eat really well so we are not concerned and do not have to go in for weight check appointments anymore. You are now 24 inches long which puts you in the 10th percentile for height. Your head circumference is 16.4 inches which puts you in the 30th percentile. Basically this means your head is the biggest part of your body:)
You are still taking zantac for acid reflux and it helps tremendously.
You are still mostly wearing newborn clothes but we are slowly transitioning to 0-3 months. Mommy and daddy get pretty excited when you can finally fit into something new.
Hanging out at school
Soooo Happy
Things you are doing: Smiling great big toothless smiles at us, propping on your tummy to look around, and on New Years Day you giggled for the first time!!
You nurse 3x daily (morning, evening, bedtime) and you eat 4 bottles at daycare everyday. We started the month with 3.5 oz in your bottles but we are up to 4.5 oz now.
You go to sleep around 8 every night but I wake you up between 9:30 and 10:00 for a dream feed so you will sleep until 4:30 or 5:00 (7 hours straight sleep)
At night you still sleep swaddled but your legs are free. We transitioned you out of the nap nanny but we had to add a towel roll under your legs to make your pack-n-play like the nap nanny so you would sleep. We still keep your pack-n-play elevated for reflux.
We affectionately call you bub, bubbie, buddy, or handsome!

Things you like: floor time so you can kick around; listening to mommy and daddy sing to you
Things you dislike: Going to sleep; Waiting to eat

Big events this month: Christmas, your 1st snow:), New Year's, and your 1st fever:(
