6 months old and counting....

Happy 1/2 birthday Beckett Allen! 6 months ago you entered the world and changed our lives for the better!!! I will admit it's all hands on deck/man to man defense around here now that their are 2 little boys running loose in our home but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
The facts: You are the poster child for breast fed babies. You are big and healthy from your chubby cheeks to your chunky thighs. You weigh 20.06lbs and are 28 inches long which puts you in the 90-95%. You are wearing 6-12 month clothes although they are snugger than I would like to admit. You are wearing size 3 daytime diapers and size 4 overnight diapers. I really have no idea how big your foot is because it is too chunky to fit into any of your shoes. Ha
You got your 1st and 2nd teeth this month on 8/8 and 8/17 respectively.
We started solids this month. You have had banana, sweet potato, apples, squash, and green beans. It's time for mommy to go shopping in the produce section so I can make you some more food and maybe attempt some combinations. You have never turned your nose up to food and like it all so far. You generally try new foods at home but then eat them at school for lunch daily. You also have rice cereal daily at school for breakfast.
Things you are doing: You quite literally could be the happiest baby in the world. I feel like we should probably be entering you in a contest somewhere because you would be a strong contender! You smile all the time and are very quiet unless you get overtired or really hungry.
This month you have started doing all kinds of fun stuff. You are blowing raspberries and saying da da da. You can roll all around the room and I mean quick. You are pivoting in prone, prop sitting, and pushing up on your hands in prone.
On August 17 we took the plunge and moved you to your room. You had completely outgrown the cosleeper so it was crib time. You are still a terrible sleeper. You have not slept through the night a single time. I have actually forgotten what a full nights sleep feels like. You currently sleep in pajamas and a fleece sleep sack to stay warm. We have a noise machine and a humidifier in your room. You wake to nurse 1x nightly but generally wake at least 2 additional times for various reasons. Your maximum number of consecutive hours of sleep continues to be 4 but that is few and far between.
You still nurse in the morning before school, have 3 bottles at school, then nurse 1x in the evening, 1x before bed, and 1x in the middle of the night.

Things you like: chewing, Sophie the giraffe, watching your brother, mommy's hair
Things you dislike: sleep, teething, Braxton's hands in your face
Big events: St. Louis, Cardinals game, zoo
